Per onorare la scomparsa di Jesse Pintado, avvenuta a fine agosto, la Earache Records ha reso disponibile per il download gratuito un album intero intitolato "In Memory Of Jesse Pintado", che contiene alcuni dei pezzi più conosciuti del periodo Napalm Death e Terrorizer.

Addio a Jesse Pintado
Il leggendario membro dei Napalm Death è mancato domenica scorsa
Il 27 agosto scorso è improvvisamente deceduto in un ospedale in Olanda, per coma diabetico, Jesse Pintando.
A pochi giorni dalla pubblicazione del nuovo album dei riformati Terrorizer, la notizia sconvolge, oltre che il mondo dei musicisti metal (ricordiamo che Jesse ha militato dal 1989 al 2004 nei Napalm Death) e i fan.
Nel sito ufficiale dei Napalm Death, Mitch Harris ricorda così il caro amico:
"I am very sad and upset about this news. Jesse was like a brother to me and we were very close for many years. For now, I feel the most sadness and compassion for his family that loved him dearly, and tried with all their heart to help Jesse redirect his future.
I suppose I feel more anger and frustration than anything, as Jesse was gifted with people who loved and cared about him. Jesse was equally blessed with many companions around the world, and I am sure that many people share the same emptiness at this moment.
Now all that I can do is to try and remember the great times we shared together, and hope that Jesse has somehow found peace in his own mind and soul".
